So what I’m about to do is give my hair, which is in two strand twists, a honey sugar and oil scalp massage/scrub(two birds one stone)…then I will have a shower and rinse….really well…with out condish I dunno yet I’ll let you know later…following up with lashings of shea butter and almond oil on top. Before and after shots anyone?
Did you know Shea butter is an oil…not a moisturiser? For some reason though I think it works very well at sealing moisture into my hair after I’ve washed.
Also, did you know if you are suffering from buildup on the scalp it’s a good idea to exfoliate like you would your skin…just with non harsh and moisturising ingredients. Not easy if you like me, have really dense “O my gosh where is your scalp” hair. hence why I’m doing it now I have easy access to my scalp.
Finally….A good scalp massage is guaranteed to get your hair growing. The massage encourages blood flow to the scalp, which then opens up the base of the follicles making it easier for those strands to squeeze through. Also it feels great!!
